I haven’t told you about the really vivid, slightly … hmm, shall we say, flamboyant dreams I’ve been having of late. A few nights ago, I dreamt that I ran screaming into the street,
“FREE PLASTIC SURGERY FOR EVERYBODY!”
Or something to that effect. And then last night, I was shopping with RuPaul … nothing new there, but I kept calling it the “RuMall” and we went to the “RuParlour” for facials.

Here Comes The Sun Again
I don’t know why I made this… but here it is, my pathetic attempt at a @BriteFutures / @RuPaul mashup. If you look at my last.fm stats for 2011 you’ll see that RuPaul was my most listened to artist, and whilst Brite Futures were only third, you’ll know from reading my tumblr and tweets that I can’t shut up about how much I love them. I sidestepped giving this mashup the accurate yet scary title of Here It Comes To Kill Again, but maybe if you hate it, then that’s what you can call it!

Countdown 2011: Top 5 Albums
#2. RuPaul - Glamazon (download: RESPONSITRANITY) Much like Adele (don’t worry, I’m going somewhere with this), I knew very little about RuPaul before his OMGTotallyAwesomeTVShow RuPaul’s Drag Race premiered on E4 about two years ago. Even after falling in love with him, I didn’t really acknowledge the awesomeness of him… as a her… as a recording artist. I mean, I was well aware of the Martha Wash duet on It’s Raining Men (I own the CD) - but, I never knew how talented this drag queen really was… still is! The hardest working drag queen out there; still on the hunt for the next Drag Superstar (season four of Drag Race starts in two weeks), still recording (a Remix EP of new songs and songs from Glamazon was also released this year), and still serving more fierceness than Judge Judy and Tyra Banks combined. Long live the queen… the DRAG QUEEN!

What I love about @RuPaul’s Drag Race (and there are many things I love about it, but here’s one) is the fact that all the winning Queens know they’re The Shit and deserved it. None of this humble, pageant queen, unworthy, surprised, fake bullshit you see in other reality TV show winners. I want a winner who steps up to the plate and knows they deserve it over those who cry and wilt in the limelight.

I think Yara Sofia’s caricature is unfortunately offensive now Amy Winehouse is dead. I even doubt if it would be shown on UK Television… Whatever, though, I’m gonna keep watching this season online. I’ve watched six episodes of #RuPaul #DragRace and all the bonus “untucked” footage!
